Home Coming: A BlazingRed Baleno

A few months ago the desire to plan a long drive reached a level where I started looking for places and planning routes. The Celerio, a competent city car for three of us is slightly inadequate ( a silly excuse though) for anything beyond 3 hours of journey. We discussed on several occasions, now that abu bui has come to a reasonable age.
Then we went home for Vinayaka Chavithi, when Salini and Milan joined us. It so happened that they were looking for a second hand car. It's proposed and settled almost then and there. We would give away our Celerio to them and upgrade to a bigger one. The search began, several brainstorming sessions. Tempted to a Ecosport, found that Ford discontinued the showroom in Vizag recently. Amaze didn't amaze me much, neither did WRV of Honda. Baleno instantly connected, the S-Cross stole my heart for the excellent ride though. Sanity prevailed, booked a Baleno after Swetha finalized FireRed to be the color, I agree. After pulling a few strings we got delivery on 18th Oct , Dasara day. A very happy family! Let the journey begin! Lets roll!
